MTN 3G base stations will double
2011-11-10
"MTN saw a major spike in info traffic on its network after it increased the rolling out of its UMTS 9 hundred infrastructure," asserted Kanagaratnam. "UMTS information has doubled in expansion matched against GSM information in the year. UMTS info has nearly doubled in a year's time." Kanagaratnam asserted MTN network deployment is driven by understanding on purchaser experience, device preference, and position of call drops. "This enables MTN to spot and reserve high info use areas so as to provide added capacity and to determine nodes where voice or information capacity needs increasing," expounded Kanagaratnam. Kanagaratnam asserted that MTN is acutely aware about the seriousness of broadband connectivity in driving socio-economic development. "There is large opportunity for mobile to cross the gap of the digital in Africa." Kanagaratnam explained that MTN's broadband vision is underpinned by the vision to provide first class web wherever you go.
